Make Pastures

Yellowdog can turn your overgrown cedar and brushy areas into useable pastures and open spaces. Our tree shear process leaves the ground virtually undisturbed by shearing trees off at ground level with giant hydraulic pinchers. The benefits of this process include less rocks brought to the surface, less erosion (stumps are left underground and hold dirt for a few more years), and far less burning or chipping.

For the land owner who prefers that no stumps are left underground, we can take of it by uprooting or grinding. Our methods bring less rocks to the surface when compared with bulldozing, chaining, or using a backhoe.

In addition to shearing or uprooting, we can incorporate or use as a stand-alone service our Brushcat or CAT Forestry Grinder to clean up stumps, brush, and trees. This process leaves a clean, mulched look and leaves plenty of shredded material to decompose and deliver nutrients and protection to emerging grasses. This method is also EPA Phase II rated Best Management Practice.

Whatever you decide, we can accomodate you.
